Age Limits

Born between 2002 July 2005 and January 1, 2008.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicants must have taken and passed the JEEMAIN entrance exam 2024.
  • You must have passed the 10+2 exam with a minimum of 70% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
  • The minimum English score is 50% at the Class 10 and Class 12 levels.
  • Minimum height needed: 157 cms.

Important Points

  • An applicant can only submit one form.
  • Applicants are eligible to apply either for the Branch (a) OR (b) or both.
  •  Applicants are short-listed for SSB based on their first preference.
  • If your branch is not available, you can be considered to register for an alternate Branch if a SSB Batch of that Branch has a spare seat.
  • Once a particular branch is selected for the next stages of the process (SSBs and medicals), they will exclusively be used for that branch.
  • An applicant who has chosen only one branch will not be provided consideration for the other branches, even though he may have merit.

Selection Process

Selection process of the Indian Navy B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme for 2024 includes:

Initial Screening : Applicants who meet the eligibility needed and have academic credentials are selected for the Services Selection Board interview.

SSB Interview: All short-listed applicants must undergo a complete, in-depth interview. This is conducted by the Services Selection Board. In this interview, the Services Selection Board assesses intelligence, personality traits, and suitability as an applicant for a Navy Career.

Medical Examination: Applicants who have passed the SSB Interview will then undergo a full medical examination. This is to make sure they comply with all the needs . The exam measures physical and psychological fitness.
